Partial dentures are removable appliances that replace one or a group of missing teeth on the lower and upper jaw. Securing the partial denture in the mouth with metal clasps that will hold into place, feeling comfortable and secure. Giving the mouth a full smile still having most of the real teeth.
A complete denture or “full” dentures is also a removable appliance used when all teeth in a jaw are missing and needs to be replaced. Unlike partial dentures, complete dentures do not have metal clasps to help secure the appliance in the mouth. A complete denture is exclusively tissue-support prosthetic.
